An international event like the upcoming 3 rd conference on Higher Education for Sustainable development has significant social and environmental impacts. It is our firm intention to reduce the ecological footprint of the conference by considering these impacts at every stage of the planning, organization and presentation of this congress and thus by reducing energy and water consumption, atmospheric emissions and waste to the greatest extent possible.

As it is obviously that this cannot fully avoid negative implications we will offset the emissions generated before and throughout the duration of the conference, including those by electricity consumption and travel by participants.

Furthermore we will provide opportunities to participate virtually for those who can`t or do not want to travel but still want to participate fully or partly. If you are interested in such a possibility please indicate with your registration.
